Rick Kollmeyer is President and founder of Blue Edge Data Solutions. With his confident, yet easy going style, he is able to communicate technology information in a way that is understandable, unintimidating, and concise. He is comfortable working with software developers, as well as "C" level executives.

Over his career, Rick's teams have created software solutions for some of the country’s largest financial services, database marketing, and higher education organizations. Entrepreneurial by nature, he has founded a number of successful technology-oriented companies.

His career started by pioneering the first PC-based life insurance proposal systems, then worked as an engineer for Apple Computer. In the 1980's he created one of the first Mac and PC training and software development services organizations in New England, which is still in business today. Through the 1990’s and into this millennium Rick has lead teams assisting businesses in building groundbreaking and highly unique business software solutions.
