My teams have been creating custom business applications for a variety of clients in industries including manufacturing, financial services, and non-profit organizations. Here are a few examples of some current and recent projects.
 Direxxis, Inc. creates and delivers end-to-end direct marketing solutions that enable their clients
to build great relationships with their customers and create best-in-class prospecting systems. As partner and part-time CTO and I created and lead the team that designed and developed dmEDGE(TM) and ground-breaking campaign management tool.
Earth21 is an early stage startup in the food services industry. I currently
act as an advisor and technology consultant, helping design and develop
their highly visual and interactive self-service technology.
Assisted a Fall River-based manufacturing firm in the selection of a new manufacturing and inventory system. Created requirements document, arranged for vendor presentations and assisted in the final production selection. Integration with existing third party EDI, barcode printing, accounting and shipping systems.Secondary project assisted the selected software vendor in redesigning their application to improve their user interface and process flow.
Developed and deployed three generations of Sales Force Automation and CRM system for a major Financial Services firm. This system allows the client to keep detailed information about accounts and individual contacts within those accounts. Also developed an "Executive Information System" which provides financial reporting functions that are targeted at the individual account executive as well as workflow processes for various levels of sales management to change and approve updates to financial data.
 Designed and led a team that created an integrated student administration system for an Ivy League university that includes a web-based application process, student registration and scheduling as well as class lists and reports. Standard office applications such as Microsoft Word are integrated for custom letter printing and label generation. The system feeds a university-wide administration system, providing student billing and contact information. This client has experienced a large increase in enrollment without the need to increase the administrative staff.
Lead a team that designed and built a complete auto loan management system for a leader in "sub-prime" lending. This system allows them to efficiently manage their business, as well as providing auditors and investors with the information they need. This system is highly integrated with external databases that provide vital information such as NADA values for the vehicle, a vehicle history based on the VIN number, a credit history on the individual and electronic funds transfer on behalf of the borrower. Quoting, loan management, collections letters and acceptance of automatic loan payments via ACH are some of the modules that have been developed.
Built the prototype, then led a team that built a highly secure web-based system for a company that specializes in employee benefit reporting. This system allows the employees of their customers to securely log on and view their current benefit statements. The system features automated PostScript to PDF creation, a highly secure user registration process, and Flash MX-based data administration.
